These Terms of Use govern your use of geoboost.com.au. By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the website.
1. About this website
GEOboost provides information about business website design and development, Website Care, search engine optimisation, generative engine optimisation and related services. Website content is general information and does not constitute legal, financial, medical or other regulated professional advice.
2. No ranking or recommendation guarantee
Search engines, AI assistants and third-party platforms control their own crawling, indexing, ranking, citation and recommendation systems. Those systems change and may provide inconsistent results. GEOboost does not guarantee that a website or business will be indexed, ranked, cited, mentioned or recommended by any particular platform.
Any audit, score, monitoring result or recommendation is a point-in-time assessment based on available information and reasonable professional judgement. It should not be read as a promise of traffic, enquiries, revenue or other commercial outcomes.
3. Website quote requests
A website quote request allows us to review the information you provide and recommend a possible package or next step. Submitting a request does not create a client relationship or require either party to purchase or provide services. A project begins only when both parties accept a separate written proposal or service agreement and any required initial payment has been made.
4. Prices, packages and project scope
Prices displayed on this website are in Australian dollars and exclude GST unless stated otherwise. Package page counts are approximate and do not by themselves define the final scope. The precise deliverables, integrations, content responsibilities, revision limits, access requirements, timing and payment schedule will be confirmed in a separate written proposal or service agreement before work begins.
Work outside an agreed package or project scope may be charged at the rates displayed on this website or quoted separately. Ordinary website work is generally billed in 15-minute increments. Complex website or software work will be scoped before commencement.
5. Website Care
Website Care is an ongoing service that may include managed hosting, SSL, monitoring, security, form monitoring, technical maintenance, basic support and a limited minor content amendment, as specified in the applicable plan. It is not an unlimited content, design or development service.
Unless a service agreement says otherwise, the included minor amendment is limited to 15 minutes per month. Unused time expires at the end of each monthly service period and does not accumulate or roll over. Third-party subscriptions, paid licences, domain renewals and work outside the included allowance may incur additional charges.
6. Ownership, domains and migration
Client-supplied business names, logos, text, images and other materials remain the property of the client or their respective licensors. A domain registered by or for the client should be held in the client’s name, subject to the registrar’s terms and payment of renewal fees.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, ownership of project-specific website design and code transfers to the client only after GEOboost has received all amounts owing for the website. GEOboost and third-party licensors retain ownership of pre-existing tools, reusable components, frameworks, methods, open-source software and licensed materials; the client receives the rights reasonably required to operate the completed website, subject to their applicable licence terms.
After all website amounts are paid, a client may request reasonable assistance to migrate the website to a technically compatible provider. Migration work, third-party costs and changes required for a different hosting environment may be charged separately. GEOboost cannot transfer tools or services that are non-transferable under third-party terms.
7. Non-payment and service suspension
If an amount is overdue, GEOboost may pause work, support, deployment or hosting after giving reasonable notice. Suspension does not cancel fees for work already performed. Where practical, we will provide an opportunity to remedy non-payment before suspending a live website.
8. Client responsibilities
If you engage GEOboost, you are responsible for:
- providing accurate information, timely feedback and appropriate system access;
- reviewing and approving content before publication where agreed;
- ensuring all service, qualification, pricing and advertising claims are accurate and legally compliant;
- obtaining necessary permissions for content, images, reviews and personal information you provide; and
- maintaining secure backups and appropriate access controls for your systems.
9. Industry rules and approvals
Some businesses are subject to specific professional, advertising, testimonial, licensing or product rules. GEOboost can help structure and communicate information but does not provide legal or regulatory compliance advice. The client remains responsible for final approval and compliance of its advertising and public claims.
10. Acceptable use
You must not misuse this website, attempt unauthorised access, submit malicious code, overwhelm the service, impersonate another person, infringe another party’s rights or use the enquiry form for spam or unlawful purposes.
11. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the text, design, graphics and original materials on this website are owned by or licensed to GEOboost. You may view and print reasonable portions for personal business evaluation. You may not reproduce, sell, publish or create derivative commercial materials from the website without written permission.
Names and trade marks belonging to third-party AI, search and software providers remain the property of their respective owners. References to those services do not imply endorsement or affiliation.
12. External services and links
This website may refer or link to third-party websites and services. We do not control their availability, security, content or privacy practices and are not responsible for them.
13. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GEOboost excludes warranties not expressly stated and is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website or reliance on its general information. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
14. Changes and availability
We may update, suspend or remove website content or functionality at any time. We may also amend these terms by publishing a revised version on this page.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. The parties submit to the courts of New South Wales and courts entitled to hear appeals from them.
